RUSSELL C. CANTRELL, M.D. PHYSICAL MEDICINE AND REHABILITATION Dr. Russell Cantrell is Board Certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He specializes in the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal and neurological pain and injury. In addition, he performs electrodiagnostic studies (EMG/NCV) to evaluate disorders of the muscles and nerves, such as carpal tunnel syndrome and radiculopathies. Dr. Cantrell completed his undergraduate education at Union University in Tennessee and attended the University of Tennessee for his Medical Degree. He completed his internship at Methodist Hospital in Memphis and his residency at the University of Missouri Hospital-Columbia where he was Chief Resident. He joined Orthopedic and Sports Medicine, Inc. in 1993 as its first Physiatrist. Dr. Cantrell is on staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital-Kirkwood,Des Peres Hospital, Missouri Baptist Hospital and Forest Park Hospital. Dr. Cantrell also serves as Instructor for Clinical Neurology at Washington University School of Medicine and as Assistant Clinical Professor at St. Louis University Medical School. WAYNE, M.D. PHYSICAL MEDICINE AND REHABILITATION Dr. Andrew Wayne, a Missouri native, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of California. He then pursued his medical studies at the University of Missouri at Columbia School of Medicine, earning his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1993. Dr. Wayne served his internship at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis. He began his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Missouri in Columbia, and finished the training at UCLA in 1997. He is Board Certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Electrodiagnostic Medicine (EMG). He specializes in musculoskeletal and neurological disorders, pain management including spinal injections, workers compensation, and the evaluation and treatment of a broad spectrum of nerve and muscle disorders. Dr. Wayne performs electrodiagnostic studies (EMG/NCS) in his office in order to evaluate disorders of the muscles and nerves. He is on staff at St. Joseph's Hospital- Kirkwood, Des Peres Hospital, Missouri Baptist Hospital, and Advanced Surgery Center. PHYSICAL MEDICINE AND REHABILITATION A native of St. Louis, Dr. James Doll earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with special emphasis in Computer Science from Washington University. Following a successful five-year career in the information systems field, he decided to pursue his longstanding interest in medicine by taking on the challenge of changing career paths and entering into the medical field. Dr. Doll began his pursuit of a medical career by obtaining a medical degree from the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City. After returning to St. Louis for his internship at Forest Park Hospital, Dr. Doll completed his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Missouri, where he served as Chief Resident. Following his residency, he entered private practice, focusing on the non-surgical management and treatment of injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal and neuromuscular systems. He performs electrodiagnostic studies (EMG/NCV), joint and soft tissue injections, as well as fluoroscopic spinal injection procedures. He is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. His hospital appointments include Missouri Baptist Hospital, Des Peres Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospitals of Kirkwood and Advanced Surgery Center.
