Chandra Nowlis is an Adult Nurse Practitioner, board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and licensed by the state of Missouri to provide healthcare to patients ages 13 and older. Chandra’s extensive clinical experience provides a strong foundation for health promotion, disease and injury prevention, and diagnosis and management of common and complex health care problems beginning in adolescence and continuing throughout the aging process. She has accumulated 20 years of nursing experience throughout the entirety of her career. Her areas of expertise include emergency care, trauma, orthopedics, pain management, neurosurgery, and acute rehabilitation. She sees patients independently and assists Dr. Wayne with various procedures.
Chandra also has an outstanding academic background, graduating Sum Cum Laude with her bachelors of nursing degree and was in the top 5% of her class during her graduate coursework. Her clinical education and experience provide a strong foundation for the holistic approach that she utilizes to care for patients. She considers not only the physical aspects of a patient’s illness, but the emotional and spiritual aspects as well. Her personal interests include traveling with her husband Steve, spending family time with their 5 children, entertaining friends, and interior design.
